DUN FEEL LIKE WORKING!!!!!!!!!!!!! Arggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
Dear Friend, Imagine with me a little scenario... It's 7 AM and the doorbell rings. Your spouse shuffles to the door, opens it wide and says... “Honey? Some guys are here and they want to talk with you...” You stumble out of bed, shaking your head and thinking, “Who could be stopping by at this hour?” Pulling on a bathrobe, you slowly make your way into the kitchen......and you can't believe what you're seeing..
Berasa suntuk abis..kantor hampir kosong..seems like all people have so many leave to spare…except for MEEEE haizzzz
DUN FEEL LIKE WORKING!!!!!!!!!!!!! Arggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
CNY festive feel is almost over and welcome back to reality – pile of work awaiting huhuhu..
Been a bit melo for past few days, maybe the effect of holiday where you can pause a little while from crazy pace in life and reflect back… Though busy, but I feel like I missed out a lot things in life!
When I read the magazine on woman impact other people life, I want to be like one of them!
When I watch TV on those adventurous travels, I want to go and take part!
When I watch TV on volunteer on Haiti disaster, I wish I can take part more than just donating the money…
When I watch discovery channel, I wish I can read and find out more on certain things…
When I saw certain shops have their new outlets opening up, I wish those are mine
Close to heart, I wish I can spent more time with my family, and friends
Well, since this is still beginning of the year, just share this articles from Adam Khoo…. especially for people who yet to set your 2010 goals J
Achieve Your Goals & Change Your Life in 2010
"Make More Money", " Lose Weight", "Be Nicer to Other People", "
Spend More Time With My Family", " Eat More Healthily", 'Start a
Business " etc...
It is a brand new year again and a time when many people see as a
fresh start to set New Years Resolutions. Have you wondered how
many people actually work on, let alone achieve their resolutions?
After coaching and training over 560,000 people in 7 countries and
reading hundreds of emails a month, I can tell you that more than
90% of people never achieve their goals and make the changes they
want in their life. So, if you have experienced this in the past,
you are not alone.
So, why do so many people fail at keeping their resolutions,
achieve their goals and make the changes they want in life? Here
are three main reasons
Reason #1: Vague, Unspecific Goals
Solution: Get Clear on What You Want
The goals people set are often vague and non-specific. They set
goals like ' to lose weight' or 'to make more money'. When you are
vague, you will never get what you want. It is often said that
CLARITY IS POWER. You need to set specific, measurable outcomes so
your mind knows exactly what to do and what needs to be done to get
it.
For example, set goals like 'to lose 10kg in 90 days and to weigh
exactly 48 kg'. When you are specific, you can then develop a plan
on how many calories to consume a meal and how many hours you need
to work out on a treadmill to burn 'X' calories per day.
When you set a clear goal like 'to increase my income from
$4,000month to $$10,000 a month in 5 months. You are clear that you
have to build an extra income stream (s) of $6,000. You can
possible develop a plan to earn an extra $2,000 from Internet
marketing/ads from blogs, another $2,000 from trading FOREX and
another $2,000 from doing part-time commissioned sales/tuition.
Reason #2: Lack of Consistent Focus
Solution: Focus on What You Want Daily
The second reason many people don't get what they want is because
they write a goal down, put it aside and forget about it until a
year later. In the meantime, they get distracted and caught up with
the daily struggles and demands of life.
What has really helped me is that I write my goals down on large
pieces of Poster sized paper and stick it near my workstation, in
my bedroom and in my office. I even design my goals onto my
computer desktop wallpaper. This way, the goals are constantly IN
MY FACE and ON MY MIND 18 hours a day. This makes me constantly
remind myself to move towards my goals and to act in a way which I
want.
Reason #3: Interest But Not a Commitment
Solution: Make a Public Commitment
Let's face it. Many of us think of goals we would LIKE to achieve.
We think it will be NICE to have. However, often times, it is not a
strong COMMITMENT to MUST do it. As human beings, we are also great
at breaking promises to ourselves and we start to justify. "I know
I said I would lose weight but it's just too difficult so
never mind, Nobody will know anyway' is the common thought.
If you want to make things happen in your life, you have to make
goals a COMMITMENT by putting yourself on the line. Make it very
hard for you to turn back. What I often do is when I set a goal
(e.g. recently I set a goal of writing a book 'Secrets of
Successful Teens', I make a PUBLIC COMMITMENT by announcing it to
my friends, family, facebook, BLOG and pretty much everyone I meet.
When you keep talking and announcing what you must do and change,
your brain will give you no choice but to do it. This is a tough
thing to do, but IT WORKS. So, my challenge to you is to announce
your goals on my blog (under comments) so you are committed to make
it happen.
Reason #4: Lack of Personal Power
Solution: Take Charge of Your Mind and Tale Action
The last thing that stops people from success is that they do not
take action. They don't use their personal power to get the results
they want. What stops them from taking action are things like FEAR,
PROCRASTINATION, SELF-DOUBT, LAZINESS etc...
You have to understand that you are in control of your own thoughts
and emotions, Using techniques like NLP, you can learn how to
control your mind and direct your focus to motivate yourself and
break through negative habits and behavioral patterns. You have to
learn NLP to develop focus and drive yourself to take massive
action to get the results you want.
It's been awhile since my last posting. Biar ngga dibilang habis married ngga pernah nge-blog lagi (langsung lirik ke Bombie**)..makanya gua langsung nulis deh nih blog..sekalian kill time dikantor..ups…udah lewat jam kantor sih..cuman orang2 kok masi pada *keliatannya* sibuk..apa sok sibuk kaya gua ngetik blog lewat Words? Hehe
Anyway, to reflect back on year 2009, I was wondering what have I accomplished? Besides all those crazy wedding preparation (that took almost half year to prepare and gone in 1 day), house hunting, furniture hunting, hm..looks like 2009 is more on Personal accomplishment, not much from Work I can say. Ministry? Not much..except I want to count in 10-weeks Kids ministry (1 more week to GO..I guess we are the longest ever couple to complete these 10weeks mission, we started in Aug and gosh..now it is Jan haha)
For year 2010? To be frank, I have yet to find my new year resolution huhuhu..well..hm..perhaps..to have my own business…I'm kind of sick and tired of working…pls don't tell my boss hahaha
Guess time is flying fast, everyone seems busy but yet I asked myself, what has I accomplished? Haiz...Many things happened for last few weeks but I know that God has provided the best plan for me. So here I am, I want to to be faithful, focus my eyes on Him.
For His promises is always true: Surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.

Huih…finally I can get a breather this coming look weekend. I have been looking forward to this after busy days for past 2 weeks.
It started with piling up of work stuff in the office after my 1 week holiday in Indonesia, my pre-wedding photo shoot, liaising with church on marriage counseling, and lastly meets the parents' session to talk about preparation.
Finally, it is over, all are pretty much in order nowJ, thanks God for that.
Talking about pre-wedding photo shoot, Oo.. man it is extremely tiring, I guess I have been concussed after each session of photo taking. Since my dear little brother is a professional photographer himself, I have the "privilege" to have multiple session of photo taking hahaha ..
For photo shoot with casual wear, We went to MICA building for its colorful window, East Coast park for sunrise with John's doggie "Chop-chop" (manage to take few nice shoots here), Little India, Raffles Hotel, Chijmes, Clarkequay, inside the MRT, Food Republic Suntec, and MPH bookshop (You may wonder what to take in the bookshop, just wait and see, will upload the photo once I have it ha!)
For Wedding gown, this is the one that take most of my time, from sourcing for makeup artist, planning the route to go to, car rental and who to drive!! Luckily, David is willing to help us to drive us around, not only that, in the end he also help us to carry our stuff hehehe…Thanks David!!
So, the day started with Heavy pour in the morning, but nevertheless I still go ahead to do my makeup and hoping the rain would stop soon. Indeed it was a blessing in disguise, with the rain; the weather was much more bearable. So, we went from botanical garden, National Museum, and Esplanade/Fullerton night scene with many people looking. All are wrapped out with very nice dinner in Esplanade Makan sutra huh….I still miss the oyster omelets!!!
Knowing this all, there I go again to Bali for my "Actual" pre wedding photo shoot this coming weekend J.. Will update more once I'm back….
love this song!
You are not forgotten
by Israel & New Breed
People walking by
Very seldom they say hi
They don't know how wonderful you are
If they only knew
all the things you've been through
if only they could see your heart
I hear you crying for help
Please don't blame yourself
You are not forgotten (2x)
When it's time to go to sleep
And try your best to keep yourself
falling apart
Hmm…There's no need to fear
because I'm already here
And I'm the One who sees your heart
Yes I am
I hear you crying for help
Please don't blame yourself
You are not forgotten (2x)
You are not just a face in the crowd
You are not forgotten, child
Let me whisper it loud, "I LOVE YOU."
"Oh, I love you."
You can hold your head up high
cause I'll make everything alright
I'm committed to you smiling again
And eventually you'll see people's similarities
Everyone just needs a friend, yeah
And when they're crying for help
You'll be able to tell them
Please tell them for me
You are not forgotten (9x)
You are precious to me
I'm the One, I'm the One
Who sees your heart
You are not forgotten
(Repeat)
Just remember…you are not forgotten.
You are not forgotten.
"You Are Not Forgotten," is one of the first songs Israel and his wife, Meleasa Houghton, ever wrote together. "My wife is a deep well," Israel states. "She's very much a feeler and a seer. When my Mom became a Christian on the streets of San Diego while she was 8-months pregnant with me, the lady that brought her to Christ told her, 'You are not forgotten.' That phrase stuck with us. Years later - once we were married - Meleasa was moved to sing to a girl in a Chicago church, saying, 'You are not forgotten' over and over, moving the girl to tears. It was unbelievable. The next day I said, 'We have got to write a song around those words.' We finished in 15 minutes - both of us praying, crying and singing. "
When things especially those that are precious to you in terms of memory values, how will you feel?

A British man fed up with his wife's complaints advertised her for sale -- and got a number of offers.
"Nagging Wife. No Tax, No MOT. Very high maintenance -- some rust," wrote Gary Bates, 38, in a small ad in Trade-It, more usually used to buy and sell cars or household goods.
Bates, a self-employed builder from Gloucestershire, southwest England, snapped after his wife Donna on got on his nerves while she was watching television and decided to place the ad as a joke.
"She was nagging me for doing something small, while she was watching some rubbish on TV. So I just thought I'd put an ad in to get rid of her.
"I didn't think anyone would ring up but I've had at least nine or 10 people calling about her. It's gone mad. There was no one I knew -- just people asking, 'Is she still available?'"
The couple only married last year, and Bates said his 40-year-old wife -- whom he advertised in the magazine's Free to Collect section, along with some of his fishing tackle -- initially gave him "a bit of an ear-bashing."
But he said: "She's seen the funny side of it now though!"

Share with you some interesting facts that I have read regarding recession, what people do to save and cut cost….
Reason given: Carrying out the death penalty can leave a state footing a bill that is 10 times higher than for an inmate serving life imprisonment.
Activists have calculated that in Kansas the cost of executing a prisoner is 70 percent higher than keeping someone in prison. The bill for a death row inmate tops 1.26 million dollars, while for someone serving life imprisonment costs 740,000 dollars, according to the Death Penalty Information Center (DPIC)
A married Chinese tycoon who could no longer afford to support his five mistresses during the economic slowdown held a contest to decide which one to keep. The contest took a tragic turn when one of the mistresses, who was eliminated based on her looks, drove her former lover and the four other women off a mountain road in an apparent fit of anger, the Shanghai Daily reported.

Song by Hillsong United
Your mercy found me,
Upon the broken road,
And lifted me beyond my failing,
Into Your glory,
My sin and shame dissolved,
And now forever Yours I'll stand.
(Pre-Chorus)
In love never to end,
To call You more than Lord,
Glorious friend.
(Chorus)
So I throw my life upon all that You are,
'Cause I know You gave it all for me,
And when all else fades,
My soul will dance with You,
Where the love lasts forever.
(Bridge)
And forever I will sing,
Lord forever I will sing,
Of how You gave Your life away,
Just to save me, Lord You saved me.
With You, where the love lasts forever mercy found me,
